James Tannahill

James is the President of Plocamium Holdings, a leading private equity and specialized services firm. Mr. Tannahill drives global strategy and value creation, focusing on sectors including healthcare, national security, and containers and packaging.

Prior to leading Plocamium Holdings, Mr. Tannahill was the Assistant Vice President of Strategic Finance at Vaxart (Nasdaq: VXRT), where he directed strategic planning and corporate development. His career also includes senior roles in healthcare sector investment research at M Science (NYSE: JEF) and the development of data-driven products at Accrete.ai. He began his career as an equity research associate specializing in the global healthcare sector.

Mr. Tannahill is a partner at Student Sponsor Partners, a NYC non-profit dedicated to supporting academically at-risk students. He holds an MBA from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Essex, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Denison University. He is also an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

James enjoys ocean sailing and hiking with his partner, Sydney, outside work.
