James Tannahill

James Tannahill is President & Managing Partner of Plocamium Holdings, which he founded as an offshoot of a third-generation investment holding company and the public-facing facet of an otherwise private operation. Plocamium serves as a value engine for internal advisory and technology enablement, acquiring and building operationally intensive businesses in healthcare, industrials, and national security across North America and Latin America. He built Plocamium's proprietary intelligence network and is Head of Field Operations at ProSecPR, a discreet, veteran-led firm operating across the hemisphere.

He began on Wall Street in healthcare equity research, then held roles in alternative data at Jefferies and defense-sector AI at Accrete.ai, before leading corporate development and M&A at Vaxart (Nasdaq: VXRT). Today he also serves at xAI (now part of SpaceXAI), building AI-native capital markets infrastructure at the frontier of machine intelligence.

Beyond Plocamium, he co-founded 1ness Strategies, co-founded NewYorkLab, and is a Board Partner at RDLB. He is a Partner at Student Sponsor Partners and a member of YPO and The Economic Club of New York.

He earned an MBA from Cornell's Johnson School, an M.S. in Biotechnology from the University of Essex, and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Denison University.
