9. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
Plocamium uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies as part of our intelligence platform:
- Automated Data Processing: We use Amazon Bedrock (Claude AI), Amazon Comprehend, and proprietary scikit-learn models to process publicly available information from news sources, regulatory filings, and market signals. This processing extracts entity names (companies, people, locations), classifies them using the Bloomberg Industry Classification System (BICS), and computes momentum scores and cluster assignments.
- No Personal Data in ML Models: Our machine learning models process organizational entities, public figures in their professional capacity, and geographic locations extracted from published news sources. No personal data collected from site visitors is used to train or operate these models.
- AI-Generated Content: Certain content on our site — including daily intelligence narratives, article drafts, and social media posts — is generated or assisted by AI (Amazon Bedrock). Such content is reviewed and may be edited before publication.
- Model Artifacts: Entity scores, cluster assignments, and model parameters are stored in Amazon S3 and Amazon DynamoDB within our AWS account (us-east-1 region). These artifacts are retained for as long as necessary to operate the intelligence platform and are updated weekly through automated retraining.
- Third-Party AI Services: We use Amazon Web Services AI/ML services (Bedrock, Comprehend, SageMaker) which process data within the AWS infrastructure. Data processed by these services is subject to the AWS Privacy Policy.
11. Intelligence Network Data
11.1 Data We Collect.
- Subscriber information: name, email address, company name (provided during checkout via Stripe).
- Payment data: processed and stored by Stripe Inc. Plocamium does not store credit card numbers.
- Watchlist data: entities you choose to track, stored in our database.
- Portal access: authentication tokens stored in your browser and our database.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features accessed, PDF exports generated.
11.2 How We Use It.
- Deliver the Intelligence Pro product (dashboard, dossiers, alerts, PDFs, API).
- Send daily intelligence dispatch emails and watchlist alerts via email.
- Improve signal quality and content relevance.
11.3 Third-Party Services.
- Stripe Inc. — payment processing.
- Amazon Web Services — infrastructure, email delivery (SES).
- Cloudflare — content delivery, security.
11.4 Data Retention. Active subscriber data is retained for the duration of the subscription. Upon cancellation, data is retained for 90 days to allow reactivation, then permanently deleted. Watchlist and portal token data is deleted immediately upon cancellation.
