James Tannahill

James Tannahill is the President of Plocamium Holdings, a private equity and specialized services firm. He is responsible for overseeing global strategy, investment execution, and operational value creation across key sectors, including healthcare, national security, and industrial packaging.

Prior to leading Plocamium Holdings, James served as Assistant Vice President of Strategic Finance at Vaxart (Nasdaq: VXRT), where he led corporate development and strategic planning initiatives. Previously, he held investment research and data-driven product development roles at M Science (NYSE: JEF) and Accrete.ai. James began his career as an equity research associate, specializing in the global healthcare sector.

James is actively involved in philanthropic initiatives and serves as a partner at Student Sponsor Partners, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting academically at-risk students in New York City. He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and The Economic Club of New York.

James holds an MBA from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business, a research-focused Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Essex, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Denison University.

Outside of work, James enjoys ocean sailing and hiking with his partner, Sydney.
